For his composition 'Clairvaux', the French composer Philippe Hersant (born 1948) uses texts written by prisoners of the French prison Clairvaux near Troyes, which were created there during literature workshops. The result is a strangely touching experience, accompanied by moving music. The production is supplemented by photographs of the prisoners, which they themselves took in prison.
