John Nelson is one of the most eminent and sought-after conductors today, notably of operatic and choral music.

This is the first recording of a new edition of the Mozart Requiem prepared by Michael Ostrzyga (Barenreiter)

The performance features an international line-up of soloists from France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

The inclusion of Mozart’s Ave verum corpus and the Exsultate, jubilate represents excellent value.

The Lausanne Chamber Orchestra and the Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne are some of Europe’s leading orchestras and choirs with over 100 recordings each.

The recording from Lausanne in February 2023 has the extra adrenalin and spontaneity of a live performance.
