Nimbus is delighted to release a stunning debut album of violinist Clarissa Bevilacqua performing a complete collection of mainstay composer Augusta Read Thomas’s works for solo violin, as well as the world premier recording of her Violin Concerto No. 3 “Juggler in Paradise” in conjunction with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, conducted by Vimayi Kaziboni. Each and every piece has a different character and tells its own story, and these seemingly unrelated, abstract pieces of a puzzle come together during the course of the album to create a dream-like journey.
