With this CD the acclaimed Finnish conductor Leif Segerstam is recommended as an equally inspired composer. Segerstam has already composed more than 250 symphonies. He has developed a unique notation technique that allows the performer a great deal of freedom in the score, yet does not require a conductor to conduct the orchestra. In this way, every single performance of his works develops into a unique listening experience. The present works are dedicated to the renowned Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, who recorded them live for this CD.
